Panels painted around the slightly scalloped and barbed oval body with chinoiserie figures alternated by vases filled with flowers, separated by trelliswork and lotus flower motifs, all between blue-ground bands patterned with flowerheads and dots and reserved with medallions depicting a dancing boy (zotje) at the top and with medallions depicting Daoist or Buddhist motifs alternated by chinoiserie figures at the bottom, the ends molded in high relief with a handle formed as a lion mask clasping an integral ring in his mouth, the bottom affixed with four ball and claw feet, a wide band of foliate scrollwork with bunches of grapes and medallions with a budding plant painted along the interior sides, and the interior painted in the center with an oval panel with a dancing boy and a seated Long Eliza in a garden, encircled by panels with a Long Eliza in a garden alternated by a vase filled with flowers, all separated by trelliswork and lotus flower motifs, all between a blue ground band patterned with flowerheads and dots and reserved with medallions depicting a dancing boy.
