For the last thirty five years Rachel Reijers has been collecting European art nouveau and Art Deco, and started with an emphasis on French art glass from the turn of the 19th to 20th century. Her activities as a professional art dealer began in 1988 with her first gallery in The Hague. Later she opened a larger gallery at the Noordeinde, a street known for its antique stores and art galleries and the Royal Palace. Since 2015 she has a website. A recurring annual event is the art fair Pan Amsterdam which Antes Art will attend for the 17th. time this year. Over the past 25 years she published several articles on Art Nouveau and Art Deco and also studied art history at Leiden university for three years. Nowadays the collection is also extended with (Italian) design.
